July 4, 2008 - eMinima founder Raffy talked about Mobile eLearning Suite for Teachers at the ASEAN Science and Technology Conference at Hotel Sofitel Manila. See his presentation here (the transcript will be added very soon).

June 12, 2008 - Blogging has arrived in Coweb! Now, you can have your blog in your USB stick and put it online in your school's local network. Your students will be amazed that your blog works even without connecting to the Internet! Visit the new blog to see how it works.

June 2, 2008 - eMinima Pioneer Prof. Benevieve Villanueva completes the Web publishing workshop with kids that she is undertaking for the San Pablo City Central School. The pages are being uploaded to the school's new eMinima site.

May 31, 2008 - eMinima Pioneer Prof. Benevieve Villanueva and Dr Raffy were presenters in the mid-year seminar of the Philippine eLearning Society at the Asian Institute of Management Campus, Makati City.

May 28 2008 - Dr Raffy Mananghaya, eMinima founder, is back from an inter-school workshop on IT for education in Singapore. Dr Raffy's previous international presentations of  eMinima were at Taipei in July 2007, Hanoi in December 2006 and Bangkok in August 2006. Dr Raffy also held an international "Affordable PC for Education Workshop" in Manila in November 2006.

May 16, 2008 - The pioneer summer training course of CoWeb closes with 5 pioneer participants from three schools:

April 24 2008 - the first batch of eMinima-trained teachers completed the pilot training conducted at the College of Public Affairs, UPLB. See the participants' picture here.

    March 27, 2008 - Three new pages about affordable computing at UPLB were added.
